Arrival and transfer to Kandy. Afternoon at leisure. In the late evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and witness a cultural show.

After breakfast, tour the city of Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. Visit a Gem lapidary. Lunch at the hotel. Then, explore the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, originally the Royalty’s pleasure gardens. The garden is home to nearly 4000 plant species and encircled by the Mahaweli River.

After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea plantation and factory along the way. Known as Sri Lanka’s tea capital, Nuwara Eliya produces 50% of the world’s best tea. It also hosts Sri Lanka’s highest mountain, Pidurutalagala (8282 ft). Enjoy an evening at leisure.

After breakfast, visit Sita Eliya and continue to Yala. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in Yala National Park, home to elephants, wild boars, buffalo, deer, crocodiles, large flocks of birds, and more.

After breakfast, proceed to Galle. Take a city tour of Galle, famous for handmade lace, tortoise shell curios, and ebony elephants. Visit the 90-acre Galle Fort, originally founded by the Portuguese and later expanded by the Dutch in 1663, housing many important Dutch-era buildings and a museum.

After breakfast, relax on the beach. After lunch, travel to Colombo.

After breakfast, explore Colombo, including visits to the old Parliament, residential areas, BMICH, and Fort. Also visit the Ceramics Corporation showroom, Majestic City shopping complex, House of Fashion, and Odel. Lunch at the hotel before heading to the airport for departure.
